La Belle Patate is a small restaurant on Davie Street that
specializes in poutine and smoked meat.
I’ve heard great things about this place so I was excited to try it for the first time.
You can do All-You-Can-Eat poutine for $19.50!!! Their
poutines are a bit pricier than other places and there are tons of varieties to
choose from.
We chose the Medium Deluxe
Smoked Meat Poutine ($11.50) and as we expected, it came with tons of squeaky
fresh cheese curds and mounds of gravy on top.
The cheese curds were definitely the squeaky kind and held
up really well against the hot gravy. I didn’t know what to expect from the
smoked meat but I was very impressed by it! I would definitely come back to La
Belle Patate and try out their other speciality poutines.

ReplyDeleteAll-you-can-eat poutine is kinda crazy though. Seriously I can barely finish a small size... And I think for $20 you can get all-you-can-eat sushi and other full meals.
