Earl of Sandwich (Las Vegas)- Move Aside, Subway

I want to tell you guys about my favourite hot sandwich place. It’s unfortunately not in Vancouver (or Canada) but it’s the best sandwich chain I’ve ever been to in my life. Move aside Subway, Quiznos, and Mr.Sub!! Once you’ve tried Earl of Sandwich, you’ll never wanna go back. 

I went to Viva Las Vegas a few months ago with Dirtygirl, Trixie, and Rae, and I recommended forced them to eat lunch at Earl of Sandwich. Earl of Sandwich is located inside Planet Hollywood and is right next to a casino. Most of their items are around $6 which is a great deal for the quantity and quality that you get.

Their sandwiches are grilled and pressed, then wrapped in gold foil. It’s like a brick of gold :D. We ordered the Earl’s Grey Lemonade and it’s half lemonade, half Earl Grey Tea. It was a great thirst quencher because it’s not very sweet.

One of the most popular items on their menu is their Hawaiian BBQ (~$6) signature hot sandwich. It contains grilled chicken, roasted ham, aged Swiss, fresh(!) pineapple, and Hawaiian BBQ sauce.

 The sandwich was simply outstanding. I’ve never tasted ingredients so fresh from a “fast food” place before and it floors me that they can use such quality ingredients like fresh pineapple and charge so little per sandwich.

 Needless to say, after the first visit, Dirtygirl, Trixie, and Rae were hooked and demanded we go back again before we leave Vegas! This time I got the The Full Montagu sandwich. This one contains freshly roasted beef, turkey, aged Swiss, Sharp Cheddar, lettuce, roma tomatoes, and Earl’s mustard sauce. Again, I was in absolute heaven. The roast beef was slightly pink and very tender, the cheese was melty (as you can see from the picture), and the mustard sauce sealed everything together.

Their Tuna Melt is very tasty as well and is Dirtygirl’s one true love. She will never choose any other sandwich but that. Oh my god I’m just going on and on.... Am I too in love with this sandwich place or what?!

Based on these reasons:
